He owns a bunch of clubs in Lafayette. Plays hockey but is from New Iberia. He's a real a-hole on the ice, but he's cool

I think the new owner of the IceGators is the same Danny Smith that is married to Sarah Smith who at one time held the UL record for career block shots in Lady Cajuns basketball.
Anna Petrakova holds the record now.

He's the owner or one of the owners of Les Amis Florists on Johnson St. He also either owns a bar or restaurant at the casino in Charenton. I've met him before years ago when the gators were here before. Haven't seen him since the gators left but he was a nice person when I met him
