Bustle came to New Orleans I believe his first year. He spoke at Charley G's on Vets at about 3:00 on a workday if memory serves. Perhaps it was a fiasco so no more have been done? It needs to be on a Saturday or at least a time of day where working stiffs can make it.

I went to that one, and I don't think it was a fiasco at all. I think the turn-out was decent - not overwhelming, but not a bust. But I thought it was pretty good considering it was the first and it followed the Baldwin disaster. I was expecting to see this become a regular annual tour.

It matters not if no one attended for the first five years. The buzz away from the event is worth more than the event.

Tapping the imagination of the fanbase is key. Don't underestimate the value of hearing Bustle is in New Orleans, Bustle is in Hammond, Bustle is in Shreveport, Bustle is in Dallas . . .

All of which translates into "UL is on the move"

Yea that's true. I didn't have a chance to attend but RaginFan2 did and said turnout was decent. If they would have had it at night or after business hours attendance would have been better. I believe it is worth a shot.

Did you not receive your email concerning the discounted tickets for the Barnum & Bailey Circus, or was it the Cajun Heartland State Fair?

Yep, that is why I am a member. What voyeurism by the Alumni Association?

    DISCOUNTS, in this economy.

Obviously you have been assured by your employer that you will not be sent back to Rust-On. However, just in case they change their mind, you may want to begin developing an alias.

The moment I saw the the title for this thread, I knew you would respond. Of course after our many discussions on this subject, how could I have been wrong?
