TROY, Ala. - With Saturday's loss to Middle Tennessee, it marked the final collegiate game for UL seniors Scott Hawkins, Matt Hicks, Gregory Harmon, Luke Wagley, Matt Broussard, Corey Chapman and Blake Haagen.

The Cajuns won 59 percent of their games in four years with Hawkins, Hicks and Harmon as the team went 141-96-1 from 2006-09. All three played on the 2007 team that won the Sun Belt regular season title and advanced to the College Station Regional.

Hawkins leaves as UL's career leader with 42 home runs and earned numerous individual honors. As a sophomore, the first baseman/designated hitter was a second team NCBWA All-American and a first team all-conference pick. After being an All-Sun Belt tournament selection last year, he garnered second team all-league honors this season.
