Means that the winners can all hit the ball, we gonna have to keep our bats hot if were to keep up.

This afternoons game is huge for us. If you win, you have to play at most two more games (tomorrow, Saturday AM if needed), to get to the championship game. If you lose, you play three games, but two would be tomorrow and one Saturday, which means basically double headers on back to back days. Tough to win both games of a normal doubleheader, but back to back doubleheaders...............wow

I wouldn't think it makes it a lot more likely they can play IN a heavy rain but they probably will not be as quick to move to a rain delay due to a light rain. It also makes it a lot more likely that any delays from rain would be minimal. The only tarp you have would be for the mound and home plate. Assuming they have the draininage set up correctly I would think they could get back on the field almost immediately after a rain delay.

Unfortunately I think this theory will get put to the test over the next few days.
