Thread: Cajuns plan on Robinson's return from injury

  1. Default Cajuns plan on Robinson's return from injury

Barring a major setback in the rehab process, Louisiana-Lafayette coach Mark Hudspeth said he expects wide receiver Jamal Robinson will be in the lineup when the Ragin’ Cajuns take on Georgia State next Saturday.

Hudspeth called Robinson a fast healer and said the expected return coming before Robinson’s expected four-week absence is not a surprise. The Cajuns have an open date this weekend before hosting the Panthers Oct. 4

That is sooner than they initially said he was coming back. But for me honestly . I wouldn't be too quick to put Jamal back in. We "shouldn't" NEED him to be Ga State. If "all of the Cajuns problems" are being put on not having Robinson in the line up . they are NOT making the other changes they should be making right now.

But without a doubt there are games coming soon where we will need him so I personally wouldn't want to risk him not being 100% and getting reinjured or not being able to get to 100% down the road because of coming back too soon now.

I would have him dressed and ready to be put in if the game was going south . but I wouldn't have him starting. jmho

Even as a decoy can open the other receivers. Teams will have to cover him

4~6 weeks turned into 3 weeks? I see nothing good coming of this. Anyone know what the injury was. When he got hurt they were looking at lower leg.

I thought it was a torn meniscus.
