NEW ORLEANS - One day after UL secured a spot in the Sun Belt Conference Baseball Tournament, the Cajuns had a chance to help coach Tony Robichaux reach a personal milestone.

UL made it happen in convincing fashion Saturday following a 43-minute rain delay, giving Robichaux his 800th career victory after blasting New Orleans, 18-2, at Maestri Field.

With the victory, Robichaux joined an exclusive fraternity as the Cajuns posted season highs in runs, hits (22) and homers (five) to complete the three-game sweep. Robichaux is the 30th active coach in the NCAA Division I ranks to reach the 800-win mark.
