No. I am not driving back to Austin at 2am in this mess. Besides, my daughter would be upset with me if I went without her (and I am not about to keep her out that late).

ncaa.com had Texas st. beating Baylor 1-0 and moving on the the championship game. We will need to beat Northwestern, then Baylor, and Texas St. twice.

I would throw Bourgeois tonight against Northwester because she is a sinker ball thrower and Northwestern is 2nd in the nation in HR's. We will have to play 3 games tommorow. Come back against Baylor with Brignac to give them a different look and Baylor is a slap hitting team and Brignac is a rise ball pitcher. In the finals we go with Bourgeois in the first game and Cheuvis in the second game.

I see that. But it does not make sense. That game was supposed to start at 8pm.

I agree with the analysis above. But two others things should be considered. One ... the wind was blowing in stiff yesterday. If it is like that tonight, anyone is going to have a tough time hitting one out. This really helps Brignac. Two ... Brignac has been spectacular and you do not want to risk not pitching her in the regional. It is do or die now.

If the winds reverse (blowing out), I would throw Bourgeois.
