While I won't be able to make it (graduating Sunday-yesss!) wanted to see how many fans are making the trip to Texas. Hopefully Cajun fans pack the stands.

I've been going to the Baylor website, fan site and Waco newspaper to read up on the regional tournament. Nothing on the softball regional since they announced they were getting the regional and tickets went on sale. Pretty sad actually. I expected more from a Big 12 school. Unfortunately, I won't be able to make the trip to Waco this weekend.

Maybe not much in the papers; but Fox Sports SW had a good segment on the Big XII Baylor sports show. Showcased their freshman pitcher. Lots of strike-outs, and apparently shut out Florida earlier this year. I see a VERY low scoring game against them!

I agree. We haven't faced that many really good pitchers this year and haven't hit some of the so-so pitchers well, e.g. 1-0 loss to ULM in conference championships. Our pitching will keep it close. Timely hitting will win it, but that is my biggest concern.

She did. She also lost to them in Game #1 of the series (3-0). Florida took 2/3 with Baylor winning the final game of the series 1-0.

Different thread; but you have to agree that their facilities are nice! I'd seen them several times when traveling to Waco for LL state and regional games. Always hoped we'd get to play games there vice at the Regional complex.

Yes, I have been to the baseball facility (which is very nice) and was able to get a decent outside view of the softball facility (also quite nice).

But their basketball facility (Ferrell Center) is not at the level of the Cajundome.
