I don't think he's afraid of getting hurt. But there is no doubt his problems are all between the ears. It's time for the Cajuns to invest in a team psychologist. Because this guy has zero confidence for whatever reason. Personally I think it's because Hudspeth babied him this off season & he didn't have any competition for his position. Consequently, he's playing like someone on welfare instead of someone who has to fight for his respect. Therefore he has no respect for himself. You look at the beginning of the down turn in the Hudspeth magic. And it began when he took his foot off the gas with his players. At least his quarterbacks. That's a bad habit IMO. We assume who the starter is, but at least have competition of some sort. That way the guy knows what his measuring stick is. That's what's Spring's about. But WTF do I know.
