Phil Steele's Football Mag 2009

I called the magazine office and learned that Phil Steele's 2009 Footbal Mag will hit the newstands on June 9. That means that just about all of the other football mags will hit around that same time, less than a month away. After a near miss bowl game last year and a horrible year in basketball and baseball, I am ready for football. First, we have a little matter of a softball championship to pursue. Here's hoping for another trip to the WCWS. Geaux Cajuns!

My season tickets are renewed, my additional LSUAMCBR tickets are purchased. Making plans for a road trip or two. I'm ready too but I'll be a lot "readier" after surviving June July and August in south La.

And I pray for no hurricanes hitting La. in 2009!!!!!!

Same here. I bought my alotment of UL LSU game tickets with my season ticket renewal. We had a great turnout for that last game. great tailgating among Cajuns (and Tigers). I too pray there are no hurricanes! Of course. we have Jaguars to take care of first. one game at a time. one play at a time.

My life is flying by or my memory is getting faulty or both. It seems like last month we were kicking on Setters, Waters, and Dooley (can't decide if that sounds like a law firm or a porn flick) about the Indy.

Is it too early to start a bowl thread?

You guys are better than I. If I were to go to the LSU game, I'd be in jail and I can't do that to the family. I'll watch from here cursing and screaming all the same. I don't think I'll ever attend another game in BR.

I've been to our previous games vs. LSU and have never had a problem. I'm looking forward to attending the game again this year. It is a great football atmosphere, both tailgating and inside the stadium.
