Citysocializer, the mobile and Web-based app that helps you tap into social gatherings in your locale, is finally expanding beyond its UK roots to launch in its first international city: New York City. Founded in 2007 as Citysocialising by former BBC producer Sanchita Saha, the app rebranded as Citysocializer last year, just as it introduced its first native mobile app. As for how it works, you basically tag your profile with what you like and the neighbourhoods and cities you frequent.
