Two weeks ago, photo sharing service Twitpic announced plans to shut down later this month due to a legal spat with Twitter over its trademark. Now the company has announced that a mysterious savior has acquired the company and will allow it to live on. We’re happy to announce we’ve been acquired and Twitpic will live on!
