UL - The mantra remains the same as UL enters the final two weekends of the regular season: find some consistency.

If that happens, the Cajuns might finish among the top eight teams in the Sun Belt Conference and avoid missing the league tournament for the first time since 2001.

Saddled with a four-game losing streak, UL (21-25-1, 10-13 Sun Belt) enters this weekend's home series against defending conference tourney champion Western Kentucky in seventh place in the league standings. In contrast, the Hilltoppers (35-12, 19-5) lead the league by three games in the loss column over Middle Tennessee and rank first in the conference in hitting, pitching and fielding.
