Game on: Sun Belt Championship Starts Today

 DENTON, Texas-The 2009 Sun Belt Conference Softball Championship starts today, Wednesday, May 6, at 10:00 a.m. The host team, North Texas, plays FIU. The Mean Green is the No. 5 seed, while the Golden Panthers are the No. 4 seed.

Four games will be played each day at 10:00 a.m., 12:30 p.m. 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. The No. 1 seed Louisiana plays the eight seed, ULM, following the Mean Green game

Hope they didn't take ULM to lightly. Defeated them easily last weekend, so maybe there was some hangover effect going on. Definitely a wake-up call! Hope the bats come alive today, and for the remainder of the tournament.
