Popular password-management software_1Password has joined the legions of iOS 8 app updates today with version 5.0 hitting the App Store with a slew of notable features. However, perhaps more notable is that 1Password is now adopting a freemium model, as with its version over on Android. Rather than charging $18 up front to download, a price that was halved in the wake of the recent Heartbleed security debacle, the app is now free.
