    Mark Hudspeth, 45, is 28-14 in his fourth season at Louisiana. Prior to taking the helm with the Ragin' Cajuns, he spent two seasons as Mississippi State's wide receivers coach. He previously was head coach at North Alabama from 2002-08, going 66-21 and reaching the Division II semifinals three times and the quarterfinals twice. He's taken Louisiana to three straight bowl games after a 41-year postseason void.

    Alligators from The Swamp are often seen on sidewalks, near dorms and dining halls, because of students feeding them? Sounds like they think alligators have free roam on campus. Feed them and they will follow you anywhere. I can just see them roaming around campus and hanging outside of the dining halls waiting for handouts.

    If alligators were roaming the campus, I'd think that it would be a sufficient excuse to stay at home for the day.

    Sounds like the same impression my cousins in Nebraska had of Louisiana (the State) in the 1960s and 70s

    Would have definitely made those half awake walks to class in the morning more interesting. That'd be one hell of a substitute for coffee.
