He has played sparingly. He had a huge hit on the opening kickoff against Douthern and then he kinda got dinged up.

Granier has had an ankle injury since the Southern game and has kind of been gimpy since. He was playing a lot on special teams but hadn't seen much of him lately. Funny thing is, out of all these guys, Anyama has possibly been our best LB along with Trae Johnson up to this point ahead of these higher profile youngsters like Posey and Granier. I also saw that there is hope we could have Darzil Washington for this week which would be HUGE. That guy has size and speed that we need desperately.

Don't hold your breath on Washington...we need the NCAA to clear him...and if your budget isn't in the stratosphere...they slow the process down to a grinding halt.

The coaches mentioned they were hoping to have him cleared by the weekend so he could play which leads me to believe they've at least been in contact with the NCAA and hopefully have an idea of what to expect. Hopefully. I'm far less optimistic about Hill as they haven't sent out any type of positive vibe about his getting cleared.

They have been hopeful on having Chris Hill cleared also. I think we need to change it up and start lying to the Clearinghouse. Each time we call just say these are LSU players. They will be cleared so fast...might make your head spin. Once they find out they aren't LSU players...just say it was an oversight. Once he is cleared...it's a done deal. We should do this for clearinghouse and hardship waivers. Time to milk the system.
