Thread: Sunday Starter

  1. I have a Question Sunday Starter

Any hunches as to who will be starting Sunday? I still say give Wilborn another shot. Or Maybe even Mike Cook. I know some people want to see Harmon, but I feel the bullpen is the best place for him. He can be a valuable middle-inning guy for us.Who do ya'll think should be the sunday starter? GEAUX CAJUNS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is it just me or is there a trend developing. A "Hey Billy" thread on Mondays, "Sunday Starter" threads early in the week. You can probably start reusing your threads from the week before. There's no harm in it and it saves room on the forum. That's just me though.

I dont think our pitching should change from last weekend. I thought the pitching was fine against a team that can hit the hell out of the ball.

  5. This is so COOL Re: Sunday Starter

Well someone gotta talk about something noone brought up any thing yesterday. Isn't that what this page is for? Opinions, good or bad.

Friday and Saturday are set in stone according to coach Robe.

Just saying that you can probably go back a page or 2 and bump those threads instead of making a new one every week, especially with the Sportsnote show with Bab on Mondays.

I have always said the Wilbourn is a better relief pitcher than starter going back to his freshman year. He should be given another shot out of the pen.

Your right, I would love to bring Wilborn into a basesloaded situation so that he could take the pressure off of the defense. He would just walk them in! Clearly he is not a guy you want coming out of the pen in a tight situation!

According to coach Robe, Sunday is TBA. Lackie, Cook, Harmon and Wilborn are all in the mix.

    Lackie all the way.

Lackie has shown a lot of his potential the past few weeks. He has good stuff but needs to improve his control and command. No need to be worried. He has only been pitching since his sophomore year of high school.

He's got good genes: His dad, Jeff, was a third-round pick by the Baltimore Orioles in 1981 and threw five years in the minors.
