Louisiana to play at Kentucky next season

The UL football team will play at Kentucky next season, athletic director Scott Farmer said on a radio station on Tuesday.

In an interview with KPEL 1420 AM's Jay Walker, Farmer said that the game at Lexington will be the "money game" for the Ragin' Cajuns next season. The exact date of the game has not been set.

The Ragin' Cajuns will open their 2015 season on the road against Kentucky, Athletic Director Scott Farmer confirmed Tuesday. The two teams will meet for the first time in their history on Sept. 5 in Lexington, Kentucky. Farmer said the game had been fin.

Let's temper that a bit.Florida is not the Florida we used to know. So losing to Florida in OT is not like it was when they were winning national titles under Urban Meyer.

Kentucky had a top 10 (or so) recruiting class last year. Same as Ole Miss a couple years ago. We can't seem to get these years right when scheduling.

I'd love to catch a BCS team having a bad day. But, I'd also like to see Hud develop a team that knew how to create a bad day for a good program. And it starts with defense. Always has.

True. I was only referring to our "scheduling bad luck" We get schools on down years too. That Kansas State team we beat was no where close to the same Kansas State team we played last year.

Don't forget that Kansas State team was coming off an upset from North Dakota State at home.
