
Connected car startup Automatic has announced a partnership with Ford that adds support for Siri and IFTTT to the Ford SYNC in-car system. The new integration will arrive with an update to the iOS app in coming weeks. Owners of Automatic’s accessory, an iPhone and a compatible Ford car will be able to activate Siri using the push-to-talk button on their steering wheels. SYNC will also have access to Automatic’s IFTTT channel, allowing drivers to trigger recipes with the press of a button.
