Easy solution...Louisiana Ragin Cajuns. Not illegal. No hyphen.

  2. Default hyphen

This is an example of where everyone is tripping over themselves so hard trying to be legal but in so doing are breaking the law.

Hyphens are illegal in that they are a variation of "at."

UL should start selling academic shirts if they want the full blown (unrequired) name so bad.

That is exactly what I am talking about. However, do you know if the school has the copy wright to that term? They would need the legal title to the term before being able to prohibit its use other than to those whom they have a license agreement. Otherwise, anyone can duplicate it and the school wont get a cent.

Commented on Chops facebook. They are UL ticket holders and claim to support both schools so I guess we are good.

Yeh, because that's what small businesses do. Spend tons of money on week to week specific radio advertisement.

This is why I go out of my way to go to the Red Zone. ALL of the profit made on my purchases stay with the university.

I dont think so.
I know the owner of Chops, he also owns Keystone Services and Railside Feed & Supply. He has 17 LSU season tickets, I think most are in the Stadium Club.

Now I am not saying that they "do not support" the Cajuns, but I have never seen him (or any of his children) at a UL football game.

The clientele they serve is prolly close to 90% LSU. Once you get out of Lafayette city limits you stop seeing Red and White. Can't blame them for endearing themselves to their base.
