WE all could use some time away from this board after these two weekends, but I just cant push myself away, lol.

We can beat Boise. They are beatable. I watched some of the Boise/Uconn game. Boise was only up by 3 pts going into the 4th Q and Uconn was driving but had 2 Ints in the 4th Q that set up Boise for their last 2 TDs. It was actually closer than the score imo.

Now ... the key will be turnovers. If B-Way can keep from letting them sail like he has these past 3 games ... we can win. If not, we won't. That simple. If only it was ... that simple.

The run game was pretty effective yesterday and against a well above average defense. If we can play with a lead for once we've got a shot.

Guys I cannot drink the kool-aid anymore. We are not good right now. I have seen nothing in the last 3 weeks that gives me any reason to think we have a chance. Boise will beat us and it probably will not be close. Time to start being realistic about this team. If all we can do on offense is run, then we are screwed. We have to start moving the ball through the air, and if that means a QB change then so be it. As always Geaux Cajuns, but im just not gonna lie to myself this week.

For the most part, I agree with you. There's not a bone in my body that tells me that we can figure it out on the defensive side and stop anybody at this point, much less Boise. I do think that we are going to see a slow but steady progression on the offensive side and start to right that ship but the defense doesn't give me much hope at this point. I don't see this game staying close, especially with the ease for which we've allowed teams to move the ball on us through the air, its like we aren't even there to defend. At this point, I just don't see how we can keep this close.
