My friend ran into Bowman before Fridays game against South AL. He told him that his injury didn't require surgery, he would rehab it, but he was redshirting this year. U heard it from the horses mouth.

Well if he is, and he can be granted a med. redshirt if he hasn't been redshirted already, redshirt him. I think he was 0 for his first 15 at bats to start the season. Besides, with Griffen and Kiffer, he'll be warming the bench either way.
