Broadway is broken.
Broadway is broken.
He's afraid to run, which is what he used to open up his pass game. His running ability allowed for the fact that he was only a 1 read QB to not be exploited, but it can't do that without the ability to run. I wasn't on the Haack bandwagon (I don't think he'll light things up this year either), but Broadway is no longer a competent player to run this offense.
Can we expect for Harris to cough it up at least 1 time every game his senior season?
You mean no positives.
I mean I never thought we would win this one, but:
was it 4 turnovers?
Broadway is terrible. He never was a great passer, but he used to get it done.
Maybe his broken arm from last season has messed him up even more? I don't know.
I really don't see Haack coming in and doing any better.
Defense is terrible. Missed tackles all day long.
It just ain't looking good.
Boise will kill us also.
Ragin' Cajun till I die!!!
You won't see the same okay calling with Haack in the game like you would with Briadway. If you do the Jay Johnson isn't a great OC. You call plays to the strength of your QB. Haack is a mobile enough to keep teams honest and has a good pocket presence. But he can fling the rock and is pretty darn accurate.
He can't do any worse.
It actually wasn't even the play calling on Offense.
I actually like some of the plays. Broadway just cannot execute them.
We had some success running the ball against a good D.
It is just the turnovers that killed us.
Defense was just absolutely terrible. NO pass coverage what so ever. Missed tackles all day long.
Kansas State made us look silly last year, and Oklahoma state the 2 years before. This is the reaction the board has every time. We were outmanned, had 4 turnovers, and our QB is not in a groove. We will get there
This is nothing like those games in years past. Coming off of an embarrassing lost to a huge rival, at home, that we were favored in. Then to get thrashed on national tv without competing and this is our best team, allegedly, ever?
