    Josh-

From your experience, what would you say is the success rate of an UDFA making an NFL roster?

Just guessing I'd think 25% or so.

If even one out of three of our guys makes their respective team I'd say that's nothing to be ashamed of.

I know you asked Josh, but I know you will appreciate my opinion.
I would guess it is a little less that that, but I bet the percentage of getting on the practice squad are pretty high. My guess is that all three will make the practice squad, with Fenroy possibly cracking the 53 man roster.

The best news is these guys signed contracts - not agreed to tryouts - right after the draft. They are hidden gems in the right situation. All found a good fit for them.

I think Desormeaux has the best shot of making the team because of how much the Jaguars like him and the fact they want him to play special teams in the first year and learn at safety.

Chery has a strong shot because the team needs help at kick returner and receiver. Plus, he should make an immediate impact on special teams.

Fenroy has the biggest challenge because the Bears have a young back in Forte, he hasn't played special teams since high school and Chicago has the NFL's top kickoff return guy back in Danieal Manning (led league in average per return) and punt returner Devin Hester (best in league). He has three other veteran RBs in front of him in Kevin Jones, the other Adrian Peterson and Garrett Wolfe. He can do it, but it's going to be tough.

Didn't UT ex Cedric Benson sign with the Bears last year as well? It is interesting to note that a running back from Abilene Christian was selected in the 5th round, I believe. One has to wonder how that guy was picked over Fenroy. Fenroy's size has been in question, but isn't he about the same size as Emmitt Smith?

Any idea as to the numer or percentage of NFL draftees that were not from BCS programs. From what I saw glancing at the TV screen, the figure looked small.
