Cajuns have already clinched the #1 seed.
Christi will be the Sun Belt player of the week again this week. Her hot streak is contagious, the players in the middle of the lineup are starting to hit like they're supposed to. Cajuns should be able to ride this all the way to regionals. All they need to do is stay focused.

UL Softball Game and time changes for Softball Tuesday

LAFAYETTE - Due to travel conflicts with the University of Houston, Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajuns softball team will now play a single game only against UH on Tuesday, April 28 at Lamson Park.

Game time is scheduled for 6 p.m.

The two teams were originally scheduled to play a doubleheader.

Louisiana will honor its 2009 senior class – Amanda Hill, Karli Hubbard and Codi Runyan – during a pre-game ceremony.

Tuesday’s contest marks the final home game of the regular season for the Ragin’ Cajuns (35-10, 16-5 Sun Belt). Last weekend the Cajuns claimed the Sun Belt Conference regular season championship, the eighth title for the program in the nine-year history of the league.

What is their travel conflicts? They can't make it for the 4: o'clock game from Houston.

This isn't the first time UH has pulled something like that. I think it happened in baseball a couple of years ago. How do you schedule games and come up with a travel conflict? It appears a pretty lame excuse for not wanting another a double header sweep by UL. Then again, UH's head coach is a former Ragin Cajun.
