  6. Default Windows 9 Screenshots Leaked, Reveals Multi-desktop Mode, Notifications Center And More

    Today, Computerbase.de posted multiple screenshots of Windows 9 Technical Preview. This leaked screenshots has revealed number of upcoming features in Windows Threshold. First, you can see the new Start Menu which includes Live Tiles and other modern apps. Second, you can see the way to switch between multiple desktop environments. Third, you have notifications center which can be accessed from taskbar. Fourth, you have their charms bar options in a new menu in the title bar of the app. Fifth, you can see Windowed modern apps. Sixth, you can notice the new flatter look for desktop UI elements. Microsoft is expected to release a preview of Windows 9 in late September or early October as per multiple reports from the past.   7. Default Microsoft Feedback App Spotted In The Leaked Windows 9 Technical Preview Build 9834

    Earlier today, Windows Technical Preview build 9834 screenshots got leaked on the web. It revealed number of new changes coming in the upcoming Windows 9 release such as the new Start Menu, notification center, virtual desktops, new charms bar alternative for desktop users, windowed modern apps and more. Another new thing spotted in the screenshots was the Microsoft Feedback app. This new app is now pinned to the new Start menu and allows users to submit their feedback about the Windows experience. Currently, you need to be part of Windows Internal beta testers_ group to submit your feedback and Microsoft is expected to expand this feedback app to public preview users as well.   10. Default Windows 9 (Threshold): The Charms Bar is back in recent builds, but will it stay?

    The Charms Bar! Remember when we revealed that the Charms bar in Windows 9 (Threshold) would be going away for desktop users? Well according to Neowin, the damn feature has returned for one last battle. We originally reported that the Charms bar would be removed for desktop users but stay present for tablet users, and we're still confident that desktop users will not have a Charms Bar when Threshold rolls around in 2015.
