THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!!!! We currently have the 'athletes' that would be conducive to running the 'run-n-gun' system. I said throughout the season that our practices probably had some really exciting 3 on 2 fast break drills because of our athleticism, but the coach just did not know how to incorporate the athleticism into the gameplan. I would LOOOOVE to see the run-n-gun implemented if LEE would just let this guy do his thing. The first time I saw Missouri play this year, it infuriated me all over again that we have to sit and watch the most ridiculously boring offensive scheme imaginable AND STILL LOSE 20 GAMES. I hope this works out. I personally would like to see high pace transition game mixed in with DISCIPLINED half-court continually rotating offense with multiple options that MAKES THE DEFENSE WORK for 25 to 30 seconds every time the fast break is not there. With Lee's offense, the defense gets about 25 seconds to put their hands on the knees and catch their breath.
GEEZ, we need to get this guy.

Do you know who Jay is? I presume he is someone on the management team of the CBA team the coach was involved with. Could you ask him why he wants to leave a head coach position to become a college assistant through Twitter? Also ask him if he knows what his responsibilities will be here?

"The 2008-2009 CBA season started with just four teams instead of the expected five: the Pittsburgh Xplosion folded under unclear circumstances and the league scheduled games against American Basketball Association (ABA) teams for the first month of the season just to stay afloat. [1] The maneuver was not enough, and on February 2, the league announced a halt to operations, turning a scheduled series between the Albany Patroons and Lawton-Fort Sill Cavalry into the league championship series.[2]"
The CBA has apparently folded for good.
