On his radio show last night, he admitted that alot of the mistakes lately have been his fault. In the same conversation he said "the team gets the credit when they are doing good, and the coach gets the blame when the team is doing bad". So after all the arguing about possibly wanting him fired. He admitted he F'd up. Lets not throw him overboard just yet. I'll be the first to question some of his decisions,(leaving pitchers in too long when there struggling, or benching hitters when they have one bad game, and not giving them a chance to work out of a slump.) But Ill back em 100% Im not a coach so I cant make any judgements, Im just staying optomistic and believe there is a method to the madness. But look at the starting lineup. Bout 80-90% underclassmen. Patience my friends it'll happen.

Thats what I like about Robe, he maned up and admitted he has made some coaching mistakes. Not many coaches do that.

Good comments, BUT HE AIN'T GETTING FIRED. I WOULD HATE TO BE THE AD WHO DOES IT AND BESIDES, THERE IS NO REASON TO FIRE HIM.

This is irrelevant. Im not saying anyone should be fired, but who cares if a coach says he makes mistakes. Does it change the fact that the mistakes were already made. And who really cares who admits mistakes if they keep happening. It doesn't matter anyway. The point is moot. UL doesnt fire coaches, and there is no way they will ever fire the great "Robe" who brought us to the CWS almost a decade ago. He earned a lifetime contract when that happened.

Did he elaborate on the specific mistakes he believes he has made? Is so, what are some of them? I was unable to listen last night.

i am of the o-pine.. you taking the first post in a fan's site as gospel.. (said word for word)

it is my assumption that he confessed to nothing but for understanding "fan's/media's/whomsoever's " thinking like this .. yet, yes ... he knows where the buck stops

Bill... sometimes you scare me as to how much you actually make sense. That was a perfect interpretation of what I believe Coach Robe meant.
