Call me crazy, but I think a win over LSU would do way more for the psychology of the program than a 10 win season ever could. Right now, the perception is that we are not in a differnt league, but on a different planet as well. If some day we figure out that that isn't true...well, doesn't that really increase the ceiling on the program?

I'd settle for playing LSU like Troy did that would make us a lot more competitive with them and perhaps change some perceptions about UL football within Louisiana. Then, going on to a 10 win season and bowl game. The bowl game is the most important aspect of that scenario.

If we beat LSU we will finish with 10 wins. Because if we're good enough to beat them, well...

I think a good solid winning season without the LSU win would really do more for the program. It would bring the overall fan attendance & excitement like we haven't seen it in years. More revenue coming into the program also.
I also think the the student attendance to the games would increase 2-3 fold.

A win over LSU would be fantastic & it would bring excitement to the fans until we get on the losing track again & then look at the record, 1 win in how many games since we played them in the early 1900's.

Give me the 10-2 season instead.
(Though I'll still be hoping for a win over those tiggers from refineryville)

There is very little in life that I would treasure more than walking out of Tigggger stadium after beating those people.... Not the win.. But the absolute devistation that it would cause their fan base.... You would have 1-20,000 drunks jumping off the Ms River Bridge....

Having said that I would opt for the 10-2 and the turnaround in this program

But allow me the erotic pleasure to think of the first scenario for a moment
