The thrill of a seven-game winning streak quickly evaporated over the weekend after UL got swept in a three-game series at UL Monroe.

After moving up to fifth place in the Sun Belt Conference standings during the streak, the Cajuns (17-15-1) dropped to sixth with an 8-9 league record following the three-game slide against the Warhawks.

UL students are off this week for Spring Break, but the baseball team was back on the field Monday afternoon looking to recover from a disappointing weekend going into tonight's 6:30 home game against Stephen F. Austin (13-19).
