The University of Louisiana has proven itself on the fields and on the courts, growing athletics' popularity and facilities. But getting to those facilities has proven difficult.

Parking was especially problematic for the first home game Saturday, when rainy weather and the resulting mud prohibited parking on the grassy university property across from Cajun Field near the Hilton Garden Inn.
