Given how well UL has swung the bats in the past three weeks, it would be easy to focus on the offense going into this weekend's series at reigning Sun Belt Conference regular season champion UL Monroe.

There's also an interesting note since the Cajuns are rolling offensively after hiring former ULM hitting coach Mike Trahan last summer.

But UL coach Tony Robichaux expected his team to hit this season. The pleasant surprise in the past two weeks has been the team's pitching out of the bullpen, which has helped the Cajuns (17-12-1 overall, 8-6 Sun Belt) put together a seven-game winning streak - with each win in come-from-behind fashion.
