I'm pretty sure that the 3rd game of the Arkansas St. series was Randall's last outing. He came in during the 10th inning walked the first batter and eventually let the winning run come home on a wild pitch.
It was at this point that he was chained up in Tony's backyard with his Labrador. With last nights performance maybe Randall is now out of the doghouse and will get the shot your talking about. I would also like to see him get a start and do something good with it.
Matt Lackie looked pretty good to me last night.
I thought he was good but not great. If Southern had any clutch hitting, we may have lost as they threatened almost each inning because of Lackie's ability to walk batters.
Bulliard has been clutch every time he has pitched except for that AState game mentioned above. He just hasnt pitched much.
I agree. He's got some ways to go. Some freshman come in and get it done out of the gate. Most start slower and get better as they learn to trust their stuff, which he has started to. Hopefully he can build on it. If he can become a solid mid week option, that strengthens us.
