Maybe it's hard to compare the old blue hairs vs young but I know plenty of good Baptists who enjoy a good beer & aren't afraid to show it.

This is actually a fine example of the misdirection neckers are renown for. While it can technically be said that Ruston is not dry, the truth is that the sale of hard alcohol is legal only in restaurants. That is hardly what I would call the open sale of alcohol. Without commenting on the moral merits of such a policy, it is clear that to simply say that Ruston is "not dry" was an intentional attempt to mislead.

    Nice try bone-boy. Tuck Feck.

Teche brewing who produces LA 31 used to utilize the support of Lazy Magnolia. I'm pretty sure they do all of their own brewing and bottling now.

Not any more. When they first started company brewing was done in Kiln, but they now brew in Arnauville. Ahh, the Bayou Teche ...good times.

Anybody try the cracklins? I would like to know before I break a tooth on a hard one.
This is not a food thread.

As usual you underestimate Cajuns. They were good and the serving size was enough to share.

Would that be Hebert's at the Hil-Win Texaco or Billy's in town?

Is there a Billy's in Opelousas? I know there is one in Krotz Springs.
