Beating Tulane in baseball is always enjoyable. Maybe now they will come to Lafayette to play us. Oh wait, no they won't.

Great win on the road. I hate to say this, because we should be able to play a home and home game every year with Tulane, but we should not play them (or LSU for that matter) until they show some class and play us home and home. They are a very good program, and if that Ahole Rick Jones would get off his high horse, we could have a good series that would benefit both programs. However, since they won't return the trip (and neither will LSU) we should tell them to go to h@ll. We don't need either team since we have out of conference games with teams like Nebraska, Houston, Rice Southern Miss and Eastern Carolina. Hell, we should start playing other SEC schools like Miss State, Arkansas and Ole Miss since they are relatively close.
Good win on the road against good competition. This is starting to get exciting... Many of us said it was possible as this team would gel. It is always better to be playing well down the streatch than playing well early and falling off late in the season. Anything is possible... Remember last years national champions!
Wow nice job

Arkansas, Miss. State, and Ole Miss are too far to travel for weeknight games and those schools sure ain't coming here in the middle of the week. Actually, I think we should not play Tulane until they agree to come here and I am firm on that stance. I have always said let's go over there until we beat them and now that has occurred, we can make a good argument. However, since we don't play Lamar, LA Tech, or Nicholls anymore, it is tough to fill out a schedule without going to Tulane or LSU. Lamar refuses to come here so we won't go there. The comments by Tech insulted our entire league. We won't play Nicholls since they shut down their team after being eliminated from eligibility for their conference tournament and refused to play a scheduled game against us. We may have to play Nicholls in the future in order to balance the schedule. Let's just play them early in the season in the future.
GO CAJUNS!
T Whip is a beast.
______, I didn't think about the mid week thing with Miss State, Ole Miss and Arkansas. If we could keep playing weekend series with teams like Nebraska, USM, East Carolina and maybe alternate those teams with the above mentioned teams and maybe play in some early season tournaments, we wouldn't need LSU and Tulane. No matter what, I still say we shouldn't play either school until they play us in a home and home.
