Thread: Where Should a LA Tech fan eat in Acadiana?

Default Where Should a LA Tech fan eat in Acadiana?

It's been a blast ribbing with you guys over the past couple of days! Honestly, I appreciate what's going on at your university. I have a genuine interest in the progress being made, and don't feel threatened by it (like some of our fans). I've stated publicly, numerous times, that I think it's in the best interest of both schools for us to be in same conference (not the Sunbelt). I watch every game I can, and always pull for y'all, unless there is an obvious conflict of interest.

As for the game, I do think LaTech stands a good chance to win. That said, I will not be shocked by being sent home with a loss. If y'all win, it will be hard-earned and deserved.

My party is probably going to each lunch at Prejeans, then we'll check into our hotel and quickly make our way to the stadium. I'd enjoy meeting any of you, and will happily exchange in trashtalk leading up to contest.

As for my banter on here, it's all in good humor--I promise. I wanted to say this because I might have a fairly busy end to the work week, and don't want to leave an inaccurate impression. When all is said and done, we'll contribute to the economy of one of the best cities in the state and have a great time doing so! See y'all Saturday!!!

Prejeans? Come on, you can do way better than that tourist trap.

Go to Deano's Pizza on Bertrand Drive. You can still get all the great seafood your hearts desire, only you can get it topped on your pizza. Get the Cajun Executioner, you won't be disappointed. Plus, it's right near the stadium and would be a good game day atmosphere. Or you could get my personal favorite, the Ragin' Cajun. There's no seafood on this one, but it's got a "firecracker" chicken topping with Buffalo sauce drizzled on top. It's truly mouthwatering. Seriously, if you haven't been there, go check it out. http://www.deanospizza.com

Thanks! A pizza place might be a hard sell for my group. We want seafood, don't really care about a crust. Will they be open after the game?

If you really want to enjoy some of the best seafood we have to offer, go to Bon Temps Grill. Seriously, go look at their menu and tell me you aren't drooling. http://bontempsgrill.com/lunch/
