We're in. Drop by and I'll buy you an IPA to help soothe the pain.

I was also thinking this, but tourists do seem to like it.

Here are a few other options that would be good for pregame

Blue Dog Cafe (not named after your buddy-kind of touristy as well though) http://www.bluedogcafe.com/
    French Press http://www.thefrenchpresslafayette.com/ , Johnson's Boucaniere http://johnsonsboucaniere.com/
    Old Tyme Grocery http://www.oldetymegrocery.com/

All are in close proximity to the stadium

Thanks dude. I'm going to present all of these to our party. We've been to Prejeans, and it really is good imo. But I'd love to hit a spot that's more obscure.

I think Riverside Inn has the most consistently good seafood in Lafayette. It's somewhat hidden off of Hwy 90, but if you find it, it's worth it.

I've stated publicly, numerous times, that I think it's in the best interest of both schools for us to be in same conference (not the Sunbelt). I watch every game I can, and always pull for y'all, unless there is an obvious conflict of interest.

As for the game, I do think LaTech stands a good chance to win. That said, I will not be shocked by being sent home with a loss. If y'all win, it will be hard-earned and deserved.

My party is probably going to each lunch at Prejeans, then we'll check into our hotel and quickly make our way to the stadium. I'd enjoy meeting any of you, and will happily exchange in trashtalk leading up to contest.

As for my banter on here, it's all in good humor--I promise. I wanted to say this because I might have a fairly busy end to the work week, and don't want to leave an inaccurate impression. When all is said and done, we'll contribute to the economy of one of the best cities in the state and have a great time doing so! See y'all Saturday!!!
Damn, you had me ____ed off and now I learn that there may be a pretty nice guy behind all the B.S.! I guess a few people can actually get out of Ruston without being total A-Holes. No, that can't happen, you must be setting up some sort of boobie trap!!! LOL!!!
