I just think there is such a high ceiling for griff that I would like to see the coaches not lose faith...........

You know who else had a high ceiling?

BJ Ryan.

But he couldn't throw a strike, so Robe never pitched him. I think Thad Griffen is the same way (to a much lesser extent of course). He has the prototypical build and will probably be drafted, but right now he can't hit a curve ball or an offspeed pitch.
