I just saw in another thread that Harmon will start against Tulane on Tuesday. I guess Broussard is done for the season after his temper tantrum in the dugout last Tuesday. _
I don't think it has anything to do with his temper tantrum as much as it does with his last few outings. You guys look into things a little to much. The kid was in the heat of the moment and wanted to stay in......I don't agree with doing it on the field, but do not think Robe would bench him just based on that!

Cool. He has some talent. He may just be pressing a little too much. I think our pitching staff pressed way too much last year trying to make the perfect pitch every time becuase we did not have much offense, and I think that was happening at the beginning of this year as well. With the way the bats have come around beginning with the FIU series, hopefully the pitchers will be able to relax and realize that they don't have to make the perfect pitch every time.

Harmon is going to get the start tomorrow night against Tulane. This may be a test to see what he can do as a starter. I know they have tried him as a midweek in years past and he has not done well in most starts. I don't know why he hasn't pitched more this year.
Here are his stats they are pretty good.

    Harmon, Gregory 2.45era 0-1 10app. 14.2innings 12hits 2walks 12strikeouts .214ba

We cannot get two innings out of a sunday starter and expect to win these games in most cases. If Osbourne and Hagaan would not have eaten up innings like they did we would have been spread pretty thin after Cook went out on Sunday and it may have been a different ball game.
