Les Smith, a freshman right fielder for UL, plans to get an MRI done on his injured right shoulder on Monday. The native of Dyersburg, Tenn., hurt his throwing shoulder in pre-game warmups on Friday night and had an X-ray taken on it before Saturday's game.
Despite the pain, Smith played on Friday and was 1-for-2 in UL's 5-2 win over Middle Tennessee. On Saturday, Smith moved to designated hitter and went 3-for-4 with one RBI as the Cajuns rolled to a 10-5 win.
