Pretty sure the saints haven't had a home game the past 3 years. That changes everything. Supply and demand.

And just like Duggie stated; they are playing the Falcons and that changes everything.
Or we can go to Mobile, Shreveport, Houston or any other bowl willing to take us and sell 30k in tickets and improve or value!!!!
People know we will travel to New Orleans, now we must start building our value in other markets!
Yep. This is what it's about now. I want our brand to grow. I love New Orleans and that bowl, and I'm thankful for being able to go the past 3 years, but I don't want this to be the peak of our program so that higher ups can keep getting greased handshakes and all-expenses paid weekends. It's no secret that our players and coaches (and many fans) want to go elsewhere; IF the opportunity arises, I hope we take it. That's all I'm saying.
Only way I want to go back is if its the only guaranteed bowl on the docket. People will complain about how cold it would be outside in Shreveport or even Mobile, but we have to take the steps to grow when the opportunity presents itself.
It's only the 2nd week of season. You all do know that?
You guys are a trip. You think $150/night is a lot to pay for a primo hotel room today? You can't even get into motel six in Lafayette on a Wednesday night for less than 70/night most likely. A room in galliano on Wednesday night goes for 169/night. If you are getting a room at the Hyatt two nights for 350 you are getting about the best deal you're gonna get. Oh, and by the way, if you want to park in Jerry Jones' parking lot for five hours that'll cost you a cool 150 dollars. I hope UL does go to the Cotton Bowl. You guys will get the economics education of your lives. The cotton candy vendors carry credit card machines in Cowboy stadium. A hamburger & fries is/was a cool $20 bill & a beer was $12. I imagine those are at least three to 5 bucks more now. Just imagine paying more for a parking spot in Dallas than you would for a hotel room in New Orleans. Because that's what it's gonna cost.
Prime hotels in Dallas or Fort Worth wont be any cheaper. Jerry's world is crazy expensive for food/beer & another $40-50 just to park near AT&T..
& decent tickets will be over $100
This may be the year where its best me show we can travel to other cities, regardless of record. I love New Orleans but it would not hurt to travel to another city and prove what our fan base is made of.
Everyone does know we are 1-0 with a win over a second-rate team and we have several games before we are even bowl eligible?
