C'mon, Coach. Give the little doggy a break. After he ____s his sister and beats his wife he doesn't have much else to do in North Bossier.

Good points.
1) I don't do it for the LTU folks. Lord knows, most of 'em are ineducable. I do it for our folks.
2) I want our people to remember, constantly, that sports serves the larger mission of the university.
3) And despite our disappointments in sports, and despite the lethal cuts the state is inflicting up on us, we are moving forward, very fast, in our larger mission.
Also,
4) It's just fun to pick on LTU. They are so full of themselves, and to paraphrase Churchill, "They are a modest school with much to be modest about." They have succeeded in accomplishing what they most wanted, to become an L-State mini-me.
Good football, forgettable university.
He wrote good points, but he wasn't referring to you at the end. He was referring to a handful of people. I never said that Tech didn't prove they had a better football team this year. I just don't think we have a player talent disparity. We are grossly under coached against good opponents. And Tech, unfortunately for us, has returned this year to a "good opponent" in football. All the other smack matters not. Let that stuff run it's course. I care about facts. And the fact is, we need to step up our coaching in football. The other 100 items to compare UL and Tech... please keep us informed, Fun. You know way more than any of us on those details... and that includes every poster from Tech.
What's strange is that without provocation from a Cajuns fan, we read this kind of complete disrespect for our city, people and university on the Tech forum, every time UL gets mentioned. Go back and read what BlueDawg wrote on our forum prior to our game with Tech. He was almost your only representative up until game week. Some of his posts got a few people on here extremely ____ed off. If we posted in threads on BB&B, and your moderator left them up for all to read, we'd see equally nasty posts from Tech people.
Apparently it is our fault because of something said by our head coach at a private boosters club meeting. Something that probably shouldn't have been printed. The writer blew it out of proportion, ULM ran with it and suckered (again) the Cajuns into buying into their hatred of Louisiana Tech.
The truth, or at least what I believe to be true, is that Tech and the Cajuns are both excellent schools whose growth and good academic and athletic programs have been stymied by Louisiana politics. It is actually amazing that both schools have made the progress they have. It is painful, at least it is to me, when decisions are made and actions are taken that may help a short term problem but hinders long term growth and standing that both schools have earned.
