I would prefer not to use the Aggies as a model for anything we do. I went their for the baseball regional a couple of years ago and I think those are the g@yest fans alive. If you go to a college bar and everyone is sitting at tables playing dominos then you need to check your pants to see if you lost your manhood. Please, please don't start using them as a model.
I understand your points about the mascot though. Unfortunatle some people thought that Cajun Man was not politically correct so he was ran out of town. I think it was cause his outfit resembled that of an old South slave owner. I have to say that I kind of agree. But we could switch up what he wears and bring him back. He was definately my favorite mascot.
I will do my best to like the pepper. I understand that it is popular outside of S. Louisiana so maybe we should all just do our best to like it. It's like I said before....it is no worse than a blackeye pea or a tree as your mascot.
Best Looking Fleur de Lis I've seen, especially on a helmet.
I'm more of an aggie supporter than hater but there is absolutely no way I will ever see watch 3 games again at that ballpark. I could possibly stomach 1 or 2 but the rituals they use at baseball games are so goofy and out of place I'd shoot myself by the 3rd game.
Like I said I actually like aggies and their rituals work well some places but NOT at the ballpark.
