As it turned out, the runs were all unearned. Initially, Mclure's grounder was ruled a hit, because the umpire never gave a signal to signify Bridges either bobbled the ball or came off the bag.
After the astute Chris Whitehead checked with the umpire after the game, it was ruled an error because the umpire said Bridges was bobbling the ball. That out would have been the third out of the inning, so all the runs after that (the three-run double) were unearned.
Brignac now has 56 and one-third consecutive innings without allowing an earned run and lowered her ERA to 0.25.
