Idk if this is just a journalism necessity, but is there a reason why so much background info needs to be put into an article like this?
"But Broadway – he hails from Baton Rouge, where Southern is located – knows better." I'm pretty sure everyone who reads the Advertiser has heard of those 2 facts sometime before... It just feels like articles that include these constant tidbits are being dumbed down for readers
