Defense dominated the early portion of practice, but the offense finally found its stride at the end as the UL football team capped off its ninth day of spring drills with live work at Cajun Field.
With the defense getting the better of the offense during a physical, middle drill period, the coaching staff mixed things up on Wednesday and took the team to the stadium from the adjacent practice field.
"We took them down to the game field and said 'OK, it's game time; you gotta play hard, you gotta play physical, you gotta play intense,'" UL assistant coach Troy Wingerter said. "They kicked our butts again for the first couple of series, but offensively we rallied a little bit.
