Microsoft has today announced that its somewhat controversial Kinect sensor will be coming to market as a standalone product_on October 7 this year. The device will retail for_$149.99 in the United States, and we imagine it'll be priced accordingly elsewhere.
The standalone Kinect sensor also comes with a new game, Dance Central Spotlight. This game requires the Kinect (obviously) and allows you to dance to your favorite tracks on Xbox One.
