It is raining in Downtown Houston right now and looks as if it may start really raining!

Actually, I can see a bit of haze or something off to the East that could be rain, but not totally certain.

It does look like it could get a little nasty out there though. I think it was two years ago that the UL v. UH game got rained out. Hope not this year too.

I was also at the game last year ... Rumor has it that they raised the beer prices for those "rowdy cajuns." Not sure if that's true or not ... Maybe our good behavior last year (plus getting spanked by the Coogs) will earn us cheaper beer this year.

On the flip side ... the football game in '06 rightfully earned us the "rowdy" tag for a while. One dude in particular (goes by Upgrayedd on this board (2d's for a double dose of pimpin)) was yellin over the wall in the 4th quarter at the Coog fans abandoning their team...Classic. He doesn't remember it.

Since I posted, It seems a little better. The haze appears to be haze, and not rain, and it's slightly less dark.

Anyone planning to meet somewhere for a bit before the game, or know of anything else that's happening. I know that the Mandola Bros. sometimes bring out some food and beers and stuff and do a little tailgate prior to some/most games, but I'm not totally certain that they'll be there today.

Did anyone get an email from the Alumni Association about the game? I wrote one up and sent it to them so they could send it to Houston area alumni. I was told it would be sent out but I never got it for myself.
