    It's pretty pathetic.

Harmon sits them down in order again. Top of the 8th, we have Goulas, Smith, Hawkins up.

Not sure if I agree. The ball was hit pretty hard, and if he didn't happen to be in it's way, he wouldn't have had a chance on it. It bounced in front of him and took a tall hop. I don't know if there are too many first basemen on any level that could have fielded that ball. Besides, it would have been an E3.

Fontenot and Hicks both had some pretty nice cuts, just were unlucky. You could tell Broussard wasn't going to have a good night after his first couple batters. The rest of the pitching was OK. Wascom played well and Harmon was a bright spot. Offensively, they looked like they did earlier in the year. Griffen's strikeout looked really bad.

The few times I've seen Griffen it seems like he's not very cerebral at the plate.

Fooled easily and often (but if he catches one, watch out!)

Harmon looked very strong. Hard to believe UH has such a terrible record. They look like a decent ball club.

Agreed... That ball took a wicked hop.... A gold glove major league FB would not have been able to make the play... they called it a base hit for good reason
